Sharing a story does not guarantee an interview or inclusion in the finished film. Interview candidates are selected through production review, and filming expectations are always explained in advance.

The TWISD2 Questionnaire

Tell it like you would over coffee

Just as the original questionnaire helped shape the first film, this one will shape The Women In Security Documentary 2. Writers Anne Saita and Richard Ticho and director Yvette Freeman use these answers to select interviewees, and our Conference Committee uses them to select event speakers and panelists.

We're looking for stories, not résumés. Answer the way you'd tell it to a friend over coffee: specific moments, real names (where you can share them), and what it felt like. A few vivid paragraphs beat a polished page.

How did you end up in security? Tell us about the moment, person, or happy accident that put you on this path, and what keeps you here when it gets hard.

What do you know or do that few people in the world can? Describe your area of expertise and the kind of problem people bring to you when no one else can solve it.

Tell us about a day you'll never forget: a crisis, an impossible call, a moment when the outcome rested on your judgment. Walk us through it. What did you decide, and what did it reveal about you?

What's the hardest professional blow you've taken (a failure, a fight you lost, a door slammed shut)? How did you get back up, and who were you on the other side of it?

What's something about being a woman in this field that outsiders don't understand (or don't want to hear)? Who opened doors for you, who tried to close them, and what needs to change?

What's the biggest shift headed for security in the next decade (AI, new threats, or something no one is talking about yet) and what will it demand from the people who lead?

Imagine a young woman watching this film ten years from now. What do you most want her to hear from you, and what should she refuse to be afraid of?

In two or three sentences: why does your story belong in this film? Tell us the one thing we'd miss if we didn't hear from you.

If selected, are you willing to be filmed by Resilient Features and sign a standard Talent Release Agreement? Note any employer policies, media restrictions, security clearances, travel limits, or scheduling constraints we should know about.

Your answers open in your email app, addressed to the production team. Very long answers may be shortened by some email apps, so check the message before sending. Completing the questionnaire does not guarantee an interview, film inclusion or a speaking role.
