Refund and Cancellation Policy **Resilient Features | The Women In Security Documentary Conference & Exhibition 2027**

Conference & Exhibition: March 3–4, 2027Location: Horton Grand Hotel & Theatre, San Diego, CaliforniaContact: contact@womeninsecuritydocumentary.com

1. Scope

This policy applies to registrations and event purchases made directly through Resilient Features or its authorized registration platforms for The Women In Security Documentary Conference & Exhibition 2027 (“Event”).

Separate signed sponsorship, exhibitor, vendor, or other agreements govern those purchases. If a signed agreement conflicts with this policy, the signed agreement controls, subject to applicable law.

2. Attendee Cancellations

All attendee registration purchases are final and nonrefundable, except as expressly provided in this policy or required by applicable law or mandatory registration-platform requirements.

Refunds and credits are not provided for personal scheduling conflicts, illness, travel delays, visa issues, inability to attend, late arrival, early departure, or failure to attend any portion of the Event.

3. Registration Transfers

An attendee may request a one-time transfer of a paid registration to another eligible attendee at no additional charge. Requests must be received at contact@womeninsecuritydocumentary.com by February 17, 2027, and include the original order number and replacement attendee’s name and email address.

Transfers require written confirmation from Resilient Features. The replacement attendee must accept all applicable registration terms, participation requirements, and filming consents. Category-specific registrations may be transferred only to someone who meets the same eligibility requirements.

Unauthorized resale is prohibited.

4. Program and Venue Changes

Resilient Features may make reasonable changes to speakers, panelists, interviewees, session topics, schedules, room assignments, exhibits, activities, and other program elements.

Individual participants and program elements are subject to change. Routine program adjustments do not qualify for a refund when the Event proceeds substantially as advertised.

A material change to the Event, including a significant relocation or replacement of the advertised in-person experience, will be communicated to registered purchasers, together with any refund options required by applicable law or mandatory registration-platform requirements.

5. Cancellation by Resilient Features

If Resilient Features cancels the Event in its entirety without proceeding on the scheduled dates, paid attendee registrations will be refunded to the original purchaser. Refunds will include the registration price and any associated fees and taxes required to be refunded by applicable law or mandatory registration-platform requirements.

Refunds will be issued within 30 calendar days of cancellation, or sooner if required. A future-event credit may be offered as an optional alternative, but will not replace a refund without the purchaser’s affirmative agreement.

6. Postponement or Rescheduling

If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, Resilient Features will notify purchasers using the contact information provided at registration.

Registrations will remain valid for the rescheduled Event unless the purchaser requests a refund. Refunds for postponement or rescheduling will be issued within 30 calendar days of the refund request, or sooner if required by applicable law or mandatory registration-platform requirements.

7. Circumstances Beyond Our Reasonable Control

Severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government orders, labor disruptions, utility failures, venue unavailability, or other circumstances beyond Resilient Features’ reasonable control may require changes, postponement, interruption, or cancellation.

Resilient Features will communicate material developments as promptly as reasonably practicable. These circumstances do not eliminate any refund rights required by applicable law or mandatory registration-platform requirements. Refunds will otherwise be governed by the applicable provisions of this policy.

8. Travel and Other Expenses

Attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and other participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, transportation, shipping, staffing, and other arrangements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resilient Features is not responsible for these expenses or associated losses arising from a participant’s cancellation or from changes, postponement, interruption, or cancellation of the Event. Participants should review the cancellation terms of their travel and accommodation providers before booking.

9. Exhibitors and Sponsors

Exhibitor and sponsorship cancellation rights, payment obligations, refunds, credits, and remedies are governed by the applicable signed agreement.

An exhibitor’s or sponsor’s decision not to participate does not, by itself, cancel its contractual payment obligations. Substitutions, transfers, or changes to an exhibitor or sponsorship commitment require Resilient Features’ written approval.

Any attendee registrations included in an exhibitor or sponsorship package are subject to that agreement and have no separate cash refund value unless expressly stated.

10. Documentary Participation

Event registration does not guarantee a documentary interview, an appearance in either documentary, inclusion in the final edit, or any particular amount of screen time.

Interviews and other filming activities scheduled for March 2–5, 2027, are arranged separately from general conference admission. Changes to an individual’s interview or filming arrangements do not, by themselves, qualify an otherwise valid conference registration for a refund.

11. Refund Requests and Processing

Submit refund questions or requests through the original registration platform or email contact@womeninsecuritydocumentary.com, including the purchaser’s name, order number, and reason for the request.

Resilient Features will respond within five business days. Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. The time required for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution.

For discretionary refunds outside this policy, any proposed deduction for nonrefundable processing charges will be disclosed before the purchaser accepts the refund. No deduction will be made where prohibited by applicable law or mandatory registration-platform requirements.

12. Applicable Rights and Policy Acceptance

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

This policy will be made available before purchase. By completing a purchase, the purchaser acknowledges the policy disclosed at checkout. Later revisions will not reduce rights attached to an existing purchase without the purchaser’s agreement.
